Curated by YIART, the upcoming exhibition "Linger" in July showcases three refreshing artists from different cities with diverse creative approaches. They present their imagined worlds in unique artistic expressions, fully immersing themselves in the spaces and characters they create. These anthropomorphic figures, through self-exploration and contemplation of life, reveal rich and multi-layered inner worlds while embarking on a wondrous and captivating journey into the unknown. These characters are not merely subjects of the artists' creations but also vessels carrying their thoughts and emotions. Through distinctive visual language and artistic techniques, an engaging atmosphere is created, allowing the audience to experience the playfulness and sense of mystery embodied in the artworks.

Only selected by the press last month, Ichin Liao, a cutting-edge artist worthy of attention, was born in New Taipei City, Taiwan in 1987 and graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. It is a rare new generation of artist who can get rid of the inherent form and is full of contemporary vitality.
While Ichin Liao was studying in San Francisco, she was inspired by the automatism pursued in American abstract expressionist action painting. "Freedom" and "sensibility" have become the essence of her painting style. Never deliberately designing the layout of the screen or using a certain form of painting to present it, the artist no longer expresses lines and shapes only, but a record of personal intuition and emotional feelings at the moment.

These artists moved abroad one after another in the 1960’s and 1970’s. They grew up in similar cultural backgrounds and moved in order to develop their artistic visions.
