When Nature Goes Wild
When nature runs wild, it’s not chaos—it’s a pure, untamed force. When Nature Goes Wild isn’t about losing control; it’s a portrait of nature at its freest, its most genuine. Winds tearing through forests, waves crashing against rocks, animals sprinting across open plains—these unbridled moments reveal nature’s truest form.
This exhibition brings together six artists, each engaging in a distinct dialogue with the wildness of nature. Some capture the spirit of animals; others invent fantastical new species. Some reflect the chaos and beauty of the natural world, while others blur the line between reality and dreams. Their works are powerful, sensitive, and deeply emotional—not just observations, but resonances. Through their eyes, nature is no longer a silent backdrop, but a living, breathing soul, urging us to reconsider the increasingly blurred boundary between humanity and the world around us.
Renowned artist Daniel Lee will present pieces from his celebrated “Dream” series, exploring the connection between the inner self and the natural world. Argentine ceramicist Luciano Polverigiani draws on South American craft traditions to create vividly imagined, astonishing new species.
Brazilian artist Diego Rosendo, exhibiting in Taiwan for the first time, has created a new series of wildly exotic plants especially for this exhibition. His work weaves together the history and emotion of ceramic traditions, the folklore of Pernambuco, and contemporary and futuristic visions.
Rising Taiwanese artist Holi will debut new paintings that transform her inner world into vast, dreamlike landscapes, inviting viewers into the rich terrain of her imagination. Award-winning artist Minyu Hung offers a fresh perspective on natural species, transforming his whimsical visions into surprising and innovative forms.
And cross-disciplinary artist Abei Liu brings his stylish, deeply human touch to the show, capturing the people, objects, and moments that define contemporary life. Whether through the beloved MASKBOY character from “MASK FAM” or the iconic HUA HUA, Liu’s work is a sharp, heartfelt reflection of our times.
